History

Rodney P. Kinney Associates, Inc. (RPKA) is a family-owned Native American civil engineering firm certified as a M/DBE by the U.S. Federal Government, State of Alaska Certification # 147P1080, and Municipality of Anchorage Certification # 4006XME.

Rodney P. Kinney, Sr. and his three sons began the firm in 1980 in the basement of his home working on small local projects for a variety of clients and architectural firms. The firm is now owned by the three Kinney brothers and has grown to a staff of over 20 professionals. Work involves projects throughout Alaska and portions of the Continental United States.
