Through many repeat Term Contracts, RPKA has performed over 1,450 bridge inventory inspections, field inspections and appraisals, repair and/or replacement cost estimates, condition rating and load analyses and final reports over the last 15 years. These structures range in length from 20 feet to 683 feet and include timber, concrete, steel, and aluminum materials in truss, girder, culvert and structural plate configurations.

Bridge inspections are performed in accordance with National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS). Safe load capacity is determined for each bridge. Rating analyses and safe load determinations are performed in accordance with AASHTO and FHWA standards. Each bridge is inspected by a certified inspector meeting NBIS qualifications for a team leader. Management, analysis, calculations, and final reports are performed by a licensed engineer/certified bridge inspector meeting NBIS, AASHTO and FHWA qualifications.

Bridge inspection locations include Idaho, Montana, Washington, Wyoming, Oregon, California, Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, Texas, Louisiana, and New Mexico
