RPKA's responsibilities consist of feasibility study and desirability of road upgrades. RPKA provided the design of a new 1.5 mile upgrade to existing roads. The Village of Shungnak requested that all roads outside the village core be improved, especially for dust, and drainage problems. Upgrades will improve safety and provide better access to the community facilities such as the airport, existing landfill site, barge loading site, and cemetery. Services include:

  • Geotechnical investigation
  • Environmental documents
