Kuskokwim River Port Study

RPKA was retained by BIA to perform a site study for three separate sites and survey for a proposed port facility on the Kuskokwim River. This project is in relations to the Yukon-Kuskokwim road project being completed by ASDOT&PF. The survey includes mainland surveying and bathymetry and hydrographic surveys to collect water and velocity data, and aerial mapping. RPKA will also provide preliminary and conceptual port design once a site has been decided. AKDOT&PF has requested RPKA to look at another site which also required hydrographic surveying. Other services include preliminary soils investigation and hydrology.
