Donlin Mine Road Aerial PhotographyCrooked Creek, AlaskaRPKA was retained by the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Juneau Area Office to perform a preliminary route evaluation, survey control, aerial mapping, and aerial photography for a proposed 25-mile road near Donlin Creek. The proposed road will be used to haul gold ore from a proposed gold mine development in Western Alaska. The preliminary route study was evaluated based on significant differences found between the alternate route and primary route. Prior to completing the route study BIA turned the project over to the Alaska Department of Transportation. |
